A mix of the Cheshire Cat and Queen Latifah’s character in Chicago, which is what I pictured when my friend said her nickname was Mama Kat.
Anyone who has talked to me recently may have sensed the possibility that I could perhaps be a bit of a Sherlock fan. Maybe. As such, I could not resist trying to draw those cheekbones at least once. I mean seriously, when have you seen another face quite like Benedict Cumberbatch’s? Or a name, for that matter?

Now to work on this week’s….
After attending (read rocking out at) a Deer Tick concert, I felt the need to record a couple key visuals, namely the opening band’s hair, and John McCauley’s blazer. Never before have I witnessed such style. It was a great show all around, and if you have no idea who Deer Tick is, SHAME UPON YOU. Seriously, go give them a listen. Now I say! Scoot!
I was close enough to see his gold tooth! Gotta love small venues.
